A few weeks I visited the dark side of climbing...caving!
The weather had been pretty wet and rubbish, with Amy visiting we decided the give the Croesor to Rhosydd mine underground traverse a go.
I had heard plenty of wild stories of this underground trip, a look at UKC (UK Caving!) gave the required (bare minimum) information:

Zipwire lake crossing |

Quack |
Sketchy 'bridge of death' crossing |
Lake crossing - amazing, there is even a full size canoe down there! |
Breaking through into Rhosydd
Dark and wet top-out |
I was quite an exciting adventure but not one I am in any rush to repeat!
Word of caution: the instructions on the UK caving wiki are difficult to follow and particularly vauge once you break through into the Rhosydd mine. The route is complex and many rock falls seem to have relatively recently taken place.
